Following, there will be a few words from Kentucky® Horsewear about their best-selling girths – to enhance readability, we’ve separated the Kentucky Girths in this fantastic range into three categories: Jumping, Eventing, and Dressage.

Kentucky Horsewear Anatomical Girths

Kentucky Young Horse Girth – “The Young Horse Girth was especially developed for young horses with elastics only on the left side. The girth is very soft on the horse thanks to its ‘cushion effect’. The Young Horse Girth features three D-rings to accommodate schooling equipment. The girth is entirely made of thick, flexible artificial leather, making it 100% animal-friendly and easy to maintain.”

Kentucky Sheepskin Girths – “The Sheepskin Girth with nylon fleece lining is one of our classic products thanks to its many qualities! Words like flexibility, softness, resistance, lightness and comfort describe this girth perfectly. The Sheepskin Girth features elastics on both ends to equalize pressure as well as three D-rings to accommodate schooling equipment. Like our other girths, this one is 100% animal-friendly thanks to the artificial sheepskin-lining along with having an anatomical shape to aid the fit and comfort. The Kentucky sheepskin girth is easy to maintain as it sustains the washing process at 30°C.”

Kentucky Anatomical Girth – “Specially shaped and designed to follow the horse’s natural movement, the Kentucky Horsewear Anatomic Girth offers both comfort and freedom. It relieves the horse’s shoulders and elbows, allowing to breathe better while still limiting the risk of injuries. It features elastics on both ends to equalize pressure as well as three D-rings to accommodate schooling equipment and a buckle to attach the breastplate to the girth. The Anatomic Girth features an EVA protective inner. The girth is made of artificial leather, making it 100% animal-friendly and easy to maintain.”

Kentucky Eventing Girths:

Kentucky Sheepskin Short Stud Girth – “In addition to the wide protective plate, the Sheepskin Short Stud Girth is anatomically shaped, offering comfort and safety when jumping while limiting the risk of injuries caused by horseshoes or studs. Specially shaped to follow the horse’s natural movement, it offers both comfort and freedom. The girth relieves the shoulders and elbows, allowing to breathe better while still limiting the risk of injuries. It features an EVA protective inner, elastics on both ends to equalize pressure as well as a D-ring to accommodate schooling equipment and a buckle to attach the breastplate to the girth. This girth is made out of artificial sheepskin and leather. The artificial sheepskin offers excellent cushioning against sensitive skin. Artificial leather and sheepskin are easy to maintain as they are specially made to sustain the washing machine at 30°C.”

Kentucky Dressage Girths:

* Sheepskin Anatomic Short Girth – “Specially shaped and designed to follow the horse’s natural movement, the Sheepskin Anatomic Short Girth offers both comfort and freedom. The artificial sheepskin is attached to the girth with Velcro and is therefore easy to remove. The girth comes with a set of two sheepskin liners. The black girth comes with one natural liner and one black liner, the brown girth with a natural and a brown one. The girth is made of artificial leather, making it 100% animal-friendly and easy to maintain.”
